Hi there,

I currenlty have a website that's hosted with startlogic.com I'm planning on building 2 more websites but I was wondering if is a good idea to host all your websites with the same provider or host them with different ones?

Hi!

It's good idea according to me. It helps you that away from crowded webshot/hosting traffic.

If you are using domain redirecting, you should publish your websites in the same domain's different directories. (If your web space enough.)

Rather hard to weight. If you have spare space and data transfer to use, adding the other sites to your current account would save you money. On the other hand, if the server has some downtime, all your sites will be down, which is not a very pleasant situation.

I don't see why you shouldn't host all your sites with your current host. If you're worried because they will all be down at the same time then why are you even hosted with them ?

I agree but, if you host them on diffrent hosts then if one is down you have the other two to work with

I think that there is not point on having more that one host.

Personally I think one web host should be able to take care of all your needs.
Of course there is the catch that if that service goes down then all of your sites are down. But if that is the case then like others have said if you are worried about that then you have the wrong web host.
