I havn't really heard anything bad about any of them, so you should be safe no matter who you go with from that list. If they have a money back guaruntee or trial period, I say try them out and decide for yourself which one is the best for you.

dreamhost is good. i have a site with them and their support and plans are good.

dont know much abt them.

but i would recommend either dreamhost or you can go with lunarpages.

I have used dreamhost for almost 3 years and it has ups and downs, but is priced right.

My thoughts are they are very good for a small company that does not use the web for mission critical web or email, or that won't fall apart if email/website is not available for a few hours every few months.

Very good if you need lots of domains hosted on the cheap. Not an ideal reseller platform, but you can set up ftp for your clients.

I would not put a client on them that lives and breaths by system availability.

There is always a good reason for outages, but they are still outages.

Tech support is good, but don't expect any hand holding. It's really techie hosting.

I have 25 or so small websites hosted with them.

I'm looking for a really good VPS that does not want big $$$. I have a data intensive, but low bandwidth app I want rock solid hosting on.

All this and 48 cents will get you a paper.

dreamhost charges a setup fee of $49.95? what a scam. setup is in most cases automated. even when someone does it manually it is not something to charge for.
