Doe's anyone know of a free host that would support a "php"forum or any other forum type.

It is recommended that you use a remote host instead of try to host a forum on a free host. You can read this thread to find out why: http://www.webmaster-talk.com/showth...8931#post18931

Lycos UK (www.tripod.co.uk) does allow forums, but beware of the ad-frame that takes up a quarter of your screen! You can check out Spaceports (www.spaceports.com), but they too have an ad-frame, if I'm not mistaken. Other than that, there are really no reliable free webhosts offering scripting languages and a database.

If your looking for a place to host justa forum then wavenom.com is good. The have phpBB2 and Invision forums.

They only host forums, and a few other things. But you cant use them for hosting full sites.

I run vBulleting on http://www.snowboarding2.com/forum/ with these guys http://www.fluxservices.com and as you can see, the forum itself is pretty fast.
