Currently i host with QIQ as they offer stupidly good prices and tech support but their package is way more than i need. I only pay £17 a year and i get 10gb space and 100gb bw, i was wondering if there was anywhere else that offers cheaper but a smaller package and any comments on their support would be great.

I think £17 a year for 1GB space & 100GB bw with 24/7 support & service is less it should be some more. You will definately get a cheaper package according to your requirements but you should check their support & service bcoz many times cheap is not reliable.

Cheap doesn't always means good but there are definitely some good budget based, low cost packages out there. Usually, it is a case of getting a lower level of technical support in exchange for lower prices.

There is usually a good saying with many people in the hosting industry and that is: "You get what you paid for". Upcoming companies will most likely offer cheap prices but once they grow and customers come to the uses of their resources I have seen many companies just drop their clients and that was the end of it. Be very careful with cheap hosts and make sure you do proper searches about them and make sure you read their entire ToS. Good luck on your search.
