Thanks webfreak.
My reason is this:
I am studying my competition.
My website is geographically oriented serving 26 cities, each city with its own pages. All of my cities are located on my one website--they are not separate domains.
My largest competitor, in the fact the biggiest in my industry, also has many cities.
I have checked WHOIS and find that they are all with the same server, and each is a SEPARATE domain, but I want to know if each of those cities has its own dedicated IP address.
This will effect my decision as to whether I should, not only break out off of my cities into separate domains, but whether they should each of its own dedicated IP address.
How I can find out if my competitor's cities all have dedicated IP addresses is still a mystery to me.
