who did you host it with? yahoo is the only domain registar that doesnt let you access DNS settings that I know of.

godaddy is what I have heard, but I have expierence with netfirms and I personaly reccomend them

I'd recommend using NameCheap (www.namecheap.com). Use coupon code 'SAVE7993' to get domain registrations for $7.99.

To transfer your domain name, in your control panel at canaca, make sure the domain is not locked. Then, initiate the transfer with NameCheap. It usually takes around 7 days for the transfer to complete (at least it did for me).

my transfer to melbourne IT took less then a day (I dont reccomend them however)
