GoDaddy just upgraded their hosting packages. They now offer 5 GB space and 250 GB bandwidth for only $3.95 a month. You can choose from either Linux or Windows hosting.

I heard their not the best host, but they've upgraded so maybe their better? I think they use to offer 500 MB and 25 GB for 3.95.

What do you guys think?

Also I was thinking of buying a domain from them and hosting that their 9each done seperatly). Do you think if I cancel my hosting, they would steal my domain? I know reseller type people do that.

Nope. I don't see any reason this would make you think that they're better. It's just a way of promotion and trying to drive in sales.

GoDaddy is an ICANN registrar. The largest registrar on the Internet according to them. They're not going to steal your domain name.

likely meaning they use http://www.secureserver.com/, and likey are a reseller of them

dan1088352, GoDaddy is not a reseller. If you looked at the WHOIS for SECURESERVER.NET, you'll see that it's owned by GoDaddy. Don't be fooled by nameservers.

IMO, godaddy is the one of the reputed domain registrar. Regarding hosting, you should have go through the popular forum reviews and hosting reviews site like webhostingunleashed.com. Their hosting report from customer reviews will have a better idea.

With GoDaddy, the hosting is the luck of the draw, sometimes it will be good for one customer, another customer its an awful experience, they offer a promise that most of the time they cannot keep like uptime
