I've found a few hosts, and I'm wondering a few things. http://www.servage.net/ gives things which look TOO good to be true, and I'm curious as to if anyone knows anything about them or would thing they'd be good. Also, anyone know where I could get a shell server with a reasonable amount of space/bandwidth? Thanks.

It does look too good to be true, so it probably is.

Check out hosting reviews from the following forums:

www.hosthideout.com
www.hostingdiscussion.com

Might want to see if anything from www.whreviews.com catches your attention as well.

Question, I'm trying to get SSH hosting and a lot of the ones which have it are kinda cheap. One thing is, should I go to a host who says it could be given on request?(incognito) Or one who says they have it but has worse statistics in terms of bandwidth and space and all around everything?

I'd be focused on looking at the reliability of the host in terms of uptime and possibly network speed. I really don't know why a host would give SSH without a request, as it poses a security risk to others on the server.

Okay, yeah, that makes sense. How much bandwidth should I really expect if I'm hosting some games on the shell?(I make games and it's going to be a gaming site)

Games are usually intensive, so look to spend quite a few bucks a month.

Well I'm talking a 2d game, not a 3d game. It's off of BYOND.com. I still need to figure out exactly how I'll do it on shell, but a lot of other people do it.

Servage was quite popular a while back but the limit of only 25 domains will hold back people intending to resell.
