My name is David Jackson. I am looking for ways to make our Free Hosting service more profitable. I am looking for real sollutions. We currently offer both free and pay webhosting accounts. Our profits from our pay accounts pay for our free account hosting.

We currently have google ads on our free accounts. This maybe makes us $30 a month and we have nearly 2000 free accounts hosting on our servers (like i seid our pay accounts pay for the free service to run as you can see). I would like to somehow find a way to make the free accounts pay for themselves and possibly a little profit.

Can anyone offer any real sollutions to this problem?

Maybe you could decrease the amount of money used on the free accounts, instead of trying to increase how much they earn.

Could you lower their bandwidth or space?

Not realy. Already looked into that. It wouldnt make a difference.

What you need to do is analyze what is your free hosting customer type? Survey them and get demographic information. Google Adsense is probably one the least benefical means of advertising. Once you have demographic information about your customers and their broswers you can start to build a advertising program that will ultimately earn you profits from your free hosting services.
