Hi guys,
I am going to buy a dedicated server from http://www.aplus.net
Do you have any comments about this company?
IMO, it's quite expensive but my friends recommend it ...

aplus is a good company, and their prices are very reasonable. If a dedicated server is too expensive for you, perhaps a VPS will be a better option, depending on what you plan on using it for.

I am too thinking of getting an VPS from APLUS,
but I am very sceptic for those money
99.99% Uptime Guarantee.
I don't think that their prices are expensive.

Heh, that opinion depends on what you know about them. A bit of research will reveal some not so good things about this company.

Just had a chat with a rep; I wanted cPanel - and they offered to install it for free.

Can't be bad!

Installing cpanel is done with a few commands and is very easy to do, they will charge you a monthly fee for the cpanel license as cpanel is not a free control panel.

No I know - but the problem was they didn't offer to license/install cPanel in the first place; it would be good.

I've heard not so good things about aplus.net. I've been using EV1Servers.net for a year or so and have never had problems.
