Ive got a file on an ftp account. its a access database file paydayload.mdb.
i can download it from the ftp. Not directly through browser nor through ftp cute ftp software.
Im able to download all other files. .asp, ,.txt, .jpg etc. When i come to the mdb file it just hangs.
Dont suppose you got any ideas. Real pain in the ***.

How big is the file? How long does it hang for? Does your host have a limit on the size of the file that can be transferred via FTP?

250k, no limits, hangs for quite a time.

Does the .ldb file created when you try to download the .mdb file?
Make sure that .mdb file is not in use when you try to download it.

If possible temporarily stop your web site before you start download. Re-enable your site after you download the file.

Access files get locked when somebody is making an update on the file.
