Iam looking for a good hosting service and I saw this the first one on google and it says that they give you a dedicated server with 500gb of bandwidth and unlimited space 10 free domains and all these other features that most websites charge 150-300 dollars a month but they are only chargin 16 dollars a month seems very bogus. Has anyone ever heard of this company or have any information on them?

Also does anyone know a very good hosting company that they personally use if so could you tell me about it because i'm still looking for a good hosting service.

$16 per month? That is not a dedicated server, that is a shared hosting account that is being oversold, to say the least. I took a look at their web site and I would personally stay far away from them. They are overselling big time.

To find a good hosting service you first need to tell us what is your budget and your exact requirements.

I have a web design client that went with them for hosting instead of buying the package I offer so they could save a few bucks. They use a control panel called h-sphere and it is an absolute nightmare. Server seems really slow, too. I've read a lot of bad reports on their customer service but, fortunately, I haven't needed to contact them for support up to this point.

They used to have smaller allotments but with the direction the budget hosting market is going these day, I'm they had to do something about it too, as it was probably hurting their sales. With each such move we're going closer to the redefinition of "budget shared hosting".

ixwebhosting... i believe they also own hostexcellence.com.

There should be plenty of feedback on this host to be found all over the net (real customer reviews). Try using Google and the search feature over at webhostingtalk.com to find some.

I was just wondering what, in your guy's opinion, is the best hosting service for 16 dollars a month.

We host with www.agorahosting.com and pretty happy with their pricing and especially fast customer service.

StartLogic.com has been good to me. I'd recommend 'em!

Ixwebhosting are popular and well-established web host.

I think you should check reviews. I think you should also check for 24/7 support, llive chat and phone support. I would suggest lunarpages.com, hostgator etc.

I used these guys once. And only once. Not happy, but perhaps they have changed....

Stay the LIVING away from this IX Web Hosting. Site down many time and very SLOW. The control pannel is SLOWER than the 2400 Bps modem using way back when Prodigy first start the business with the PS1 IBM. By the way, the server administrator will suspend your account for any program or file that "HE" considered as "Copy Right". If you are a Network Administrator and have some "Tools" to distribute to your clients. Forget it! They'll suspend your account without even let you know what was going on ! I'll tell you this is what I have in the FTP and they suspend my account (FTP.amegjosie.com: MS TweakPowertoy, all the "FREE" Utilities that you downloaded and distributed for FREE from Micrsost. Any free utilities that you have a genuine copy for your OWN use.) _ On top of that, their FTP is NOT protected.
