i think when a site exceeds the 17 Gb limit, they manually disable the site as yesterday they disabled my site only when the transfer reached 19.5 GB.

anyway i am happy with them.

today servage upgraded their plans with 75000 MB space and 600 GB bandwidth monthly.

servage is relly cool

if u are using 500gb and are using php & mysql u might want want to look at vps or dedicated. 500gb on a shared is ludacris. of course they are going suspend ur account.

till now i havent got a warning or anything of the sort regarding my b/w usage. i basically give mp3s for download and its bandwidth i need the most. i onlt get abt 600 uniques and 6000 pageviews a day.

i dont think it takes up much server recources.

They oversell too much, this is not good for the long term.

If they sell alot, they need to choose to make less profit on a product.

I paid up front for six months hosting about £70. This was a huge mistake. After 2 weeks I received the following message:
Hello Richard,
DDoS account target (domain name deleted). We have been forced to suspend the account. Sorry for that.

I contacted them and they were most unhelpful, then ignored me. They will not provide me any details of the DDOS which I actually think didn't happen. No one even knew the web site was there!
Servage are thieves and dishonest, I am bitterly disappointed.

I have seen a few cases regarding Servage lately. That changes my perception of Servage a lot.

Servage had a lot of good reviews at a time but recently I have read a lot of negative one’s and they should work on it to get back the same reputation they had before. If these guys are just overselling their resources then it will be very hard for them to answer the unsatisfied lot of customers.

I have servage, and as of now is suspended, because im using up too many resources or something, first of all my site is on hiatus so how the heck does that happen? someone mentioned before, is it because i have a lot of php scripts installed?

I have been with Servage for quite some time now and have not yet had any problems with any type if high load. If the load increases drastic I just get a warning and have some time to take measures to lower and avoid any suspension. So far I'm very happy with my Servage account

the first i think about Servage : that's crazy .
i have 1 hosting in Servage. i setup 1 forum in it.
i have >10.000 page load / day , but they said i had >400.000pageload and surpend my account.
When i request the back money. They continued charging my Card for new payment.
Finally , i have full back money . but i will never use Servage one more time.

I've heard some bad stuff from servage users. One was using the acc to store some pics (a few GB) and the entire folder got deleted. Also other ppl confirmed that it also happened to them.

I think one should try to see the host plans and terms & conditions of host cause there are some rules which need to be followed when one is hosted on a shared server. I have been with Servage for a quite some time and I am not having any such issues about loss of files or account suspension. So far its better and hope that its stays like this in near future also. So do not assume that views of some bunch of people to be a collective feedback.

I was skeptical when I first started to look at Servage. But I saw some good reviews, and decided to give them a try. I have to say, I am very happy with them, and will be renewing my account with them. They give you more space and bandwidth then you'll probably ever need and tons of extra features as well. There custom control panel is easy to learn.

I am also VERY surprised by the support. I wasn't expecting much. But the times I had a question, they responded within a couple hours, will a polite and detailed response. The speed may be a bit slower than other web-hosts, but not too slow at all. When you get THAT MUCH Space and bandwidth, it's worth it to have slightly less speed than other hosts. So if you need a big amount of space, bandwidth and able to host multiple domain names with tons of extra and good support, sign up with Servage.

i have bandwidth problem with servage too.It seem like when i use 1GB they charge 50GB,that what i feel.The other day i give a trustable friend of my a DDl link anime that were totally over 2GB of file."Bandwidth Limit Exceeded" that was the next thing i saw when i open my website,after my friend finish downloading the files.Later i check in the servage CP and the total bandwidth i use for that day was 160GB.Plus i ask my friend if he share the link with someone else,he swear he did'nt.Also i have'nt give the link to someone else.Because i have uploaded thoses file a few day ago.

People often make the mistake of thinking they can get 15,000 visitors a day and not get semi-dedicated or dedicated and put it on some cheap shared plan since it fits the space and bandwidth requirements. Common sense can tell you some stuff is too good to be true...
