Hi new to this forum and may be in the worng place but here goes....

I want to set up my own webserver...thing is I dont have a clue whats needed for a webserver.

I have win2000 server or I can set up linux thats not an issue its things like security, software and other such things.

Even if you dont know what is needed for a webserver any ideas you have on this would be great.

As a bit of information on the server it will be hosting no more than 200 sites but security is a big issue as some of the sites will need 128 encryption and i dont want them hacked.

You need to buy server management, if you can't do it yourself (and it appear that you can't).
