I'm looking to buy a server in the near future. Can anyone recommend any servers, or have any tips for me to do. I'm kinda new in servers.

It all depends on what you plan on doing with it and your level of expertise. Please elaborate.

I plan on 'going solo' with my website. I am currently being hosted by a friend and it doesn't have enough bandwidth for what I want. I also want to set up around 5 or 6 more websites on the server (this is why I want a server, as I suppose it would cost more with web hosting). My level of expertise isn't the best. I'm am new to servers totally, but I'm kind of a veteran to web design. I plan on setting up several forums too on the server, so I presume more needs to be added than what comes with it.
