I run 10 domains on my dedicated server. One of my domain continues to have down time. I checked with my domain registry and the DNS looks fine. I also check with my server and the domain looks great and all the files look fine. When I ping the domain everything is ok.
Could that domain be getting attacked? All the other 9 domains are up with that one domain down. Could it be a denial of service? I contacted my server company and they assure me that it could not be an attack.

It's not an attack, it it was you'd notice it on the rest of the server. Have you tried doing a traceroute on the domain? Take a look at dnsreport.com and see if anything is reported there.
More than likely your httpd.conf has a missing entry or error for that domain having the downtime
