2 major outages over the last 2 weeks, with 3 other smaller outages.
Insufficient backups meant having to rebuild with more difficulty than necessary.
While I understand no host can guarantee 100% uptime, this level of outage is unacceptable and even more so when explanations are not forthcoming and I HATE having to email asking for explanations.
If a host really cares about customer service they would:
1. notify their customers
2. place a temporary notice on their customers web sites explaining there is a problem and the site will be back in approximately x minutes/hours/days.
3. Give the customer 2 weeks free hosting for each days outage as customers/visitors lost do not come back.
I'm still using them but when (and if they come back online) it happens again I'll be moving onto more professional hosts.

I don't mean to be cruel, but using a pitch like that is well, kinda sad. instead of a sales pitch why don't you accomidate this client of yours and help the client with the troubles he wrote about, perhaps post the cause of the outages for all to see, explain the compinsation the client will get due to the poor service instead of saying "We're better now", prove it.

I have used several different hosts and PrimeSource-Hosting is by far the worst I've ever seen. One of my sites was down for over a week with no real support. This is only after 2 weeks of activation. I finally requested a refund and the admin is claims that the refund is in process but is making by the domain back from him (this goes against his OWN Terms of Service). As I said absolutely laughable.

Hello, I also faced lots of trouble with primesource-hosting.com. First, I heard that their website primesource-hosting.com is being hacked. They also have another website urban-isp.com. I don't know whats going on????? I even had trouble with my credit card. They had used 2checkout.com system before but now they are using something but they have put me into recurring billing at 2checkout.com. I was billed by 2checkout.com even though primesource-hosting.com is not using it anymore. I contacted the support at primesource-hosting.com but I got the response that I need to solve that problem myself. But I believe that was not my fault. Other issues includes server downs frequently and when asked for support I get reply like they never promised for reliable service to me. I don't know what do they mean by this.

This is the worst hosting service I had ever faced.

Earth, first off contact 2checkout.com if that is how they are charging you. They have a phone number as well as an online contact form. They can get this credit problem solved for you. Second find a better host, anytime a host tells you that your credit card being charged by them and that is your problem you know its time to find someone new and someone who is will to work with thier clients on solving a major problem like this.

Hello, my website was down for last one week and when I asked for support, they don't know whats going on with my domain. All the files were erased and everything was newly setupped. When I complain for recovery of my files. This is what I go in reply from primesouce-hosting.com or urban-isp.com whatever they call them now,
"then you will need to move your account to where you can get better service"

Now, I think I have to look for new hosting company. My worry is, if anyhow my credit card is again charged by their irresponsible system and people then what I am going to do????? Now, they are not even using 2checkout.com.

So, be aware such a fraud hosting company. I am really very angry with this company. I don't know what to do about it?

well if they refuse to refund the full amount and they are going against their own policy you can always threaten to sue

Preform a charge back on your credit card. Because it is a non-material object you ordered your credit company can help you recoup the money rather easily.
