Hi all.

I'm using Plesk and installed an SSL certificate for one of my domains. Rightfully, I put the domain's content in the HTTPSDOCS folder of my server, but yet when I go to visit my site using https://, the certificate is a mismatch!

I know the reason why too! It appears that my site is, FOR SOME REASON, using the SSL certificate that's for my IP so I can access Plesk. Can anyone please assist?

I figured out how to do it, in case of any of you are coming from search engines searching this question - I don't want you guys missing out on the answer.

I contacted my host's support, and you have to have a dedicated IP address for this to work. The site you want the SSL certificate on, well, it needs to just have that dedicated IP address - let no other site of yours have that IP. After you installed the SSL certificate on your server, you actually have to assign the certificate to your dedicated IP address through the client's IP pool.

And then it'll work!
