If you do the math, it's simple. Purchase with a $9.95/mo reseller account, sell 5 hosting packages within that account at $4.95/mo, you've made $14.80/mo in profit. The more you sell, the more you profit.

But seriously, the market's saturated enough as it is, so do something unique. Crossbrand it with web design, consultancy, some sort of niche - whatever - don't just offer unlimited this, unlimited that, because there will always be better companies being able to offer a more reliable service.

When you purchase bulk reseller from your host, they will give you WHM as the control panel. Then, you can allocate whatever amount of bandwidth, spaces to your resold accounts. Just ensure that you allocate the amount which can gives you profits in return.

If you are trying reseller hosting, try not to create a website and buy tons of hosting checkout.

Instead, head on over to forums, PM the users looking for hosting and offer your price!

You can buy a reseller program. then create your own plan and set the price. then sell it to your customer. If you do not want to spend money for reseller program, there are some free reseller program who provide everything including billing, support, template etc.... you only have to sell hosting package to your customer with own brand name. example: A 15GB space package retail price is $40 per year then if you sell it with $60 per year, your profit will be $20. Your customer will pay $60 to webhost they will bill your customer. after end of month they will send a check deducted retail price $20.

I agree that the market is saturated, heavily, but there are ways to over-come the competition. Local marketing is probably best, and there are many companies out there that still do not have an online store-front that you can market to. Online is where you will find that the market is most saturated, but when you look at the global market, the hosting business can still be competitive. You just have to have a very direct target market with a marketing plan.

I just thought I'd throw that in.
