Hi, i recently switched hosting companies but now i am trying to set up the email for a domain i have regestered to work with my new hosting service. Is is even possible? help

No problem at all! You have to change your domain name servers to the name servers provided by your new hosting company. Allow 24-48 for changes to propagate ( usually if your are living in America/Europe it doesn't take more than 5 mins, if it does try to clear your DNS cache ) . After the change propagated your hosting company should take care of all aspects regarding email, ftp, etc.
