Hello,
I bought script that needs this mod_rewrite, but when i tried to create a demo, it didn't work.

I contacted my hosting company and they said this mod is disable
My question is there a way to enable this mod??

Thanks

It's up to your host to do that.

Yep it's up to your host to install that, but mod_rewrite is something you're probably going to want to use beyond thie one script. If your host won't install it you might want to think about finding another host.

You can use mod_rewrite on your htaccess file.

Just add these 2 lines:
Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine on

and then add your mod_rewrite commands there. Not all mod_rewrite commands will be available to use on your htaccess file.

the post above is correct, however as the previous too posters said, it will need to be enabled by your host.

mod rewrite is so common, be harsh of them not to let you have it ... unless you have free hosting
