All my emails from several domains are being blocked by Spam Cop. How can a third party have control over your emails? It seems they hold you to ransom to use their services to get your domains removed from the black-listings.

Any advice appreciated.

Chances are, you ran into the exact same thing that I ran into four years ago when being hosted with Interland.

The problem probably isn't your domains specifically. It's likely the IP block they're contained within, and more importantly who hosts the domains for you.

Some of the more noted offenders that I know of are:

Interland (that's where a client site of mine was hosted before I switched)
Cedant

Which domains are they specifically? You might get a better idea by resolving them to IPs and searching for them at http://www.spamcop.net/bl.shtml .

If you notice a number on the same IP, it's time to switch your host.

By the way...you might also want to check into the ownership your domain registration. I'm guessing with the nick "webgurl" and the domain "ideaswoman.com.au" that your name isn't Colin.
