I charge about 5€ PCM for a basic package.

i pay 7.95$ for 200GB Storage and 500GB bandwidth and i got a free domain name and more

Mine is paid yearly. Currently £30 per year for 500mb storage, not sure how much bandwidth but its loads.

Works out at £2.50 per month.

I pay nothing since I am a webhost. Before then I paid about 50$ a month but the company was horriable.

Many many years ago I used free web hosting account.

I got Gobluefly hosting for $3.49

I have got one idea. Would further posters mind to post about their income approx. from the sites they spend money on web hosting. Maybe someone spend it for the pleasure?

mine is only 20 bucks a year.. 10GB space and 100GB bandwidth.. excellent support too.. malaysian company though

You are paying for the privilege to be laughed at by host that sees you as another fish he netted and then for being treaded you as one.

No host can offer and then provide you with 500GB of space and 5,000GB of transfer. Better yet, even 50GB of transfer per month in total is out of reach for 99.9% of hosting companies and they are paying $2 / $3 or even more for every Gig after that.

Correct with all my nice expensive features I'm paying .87 cents a gig but support + sales agents is expensive.

I have no doubts you’re paying .87c. because I know you can get even .50c. rate but I also know that you are paying so little because you are getting 1mbps or at the very best 2mbps connection.

10 or 100mbps outgoing price is $3 or even $5 per Gig.

I am currently thinking about upgrading to VPS.

I am hosted at unlimitednethosting.com. I am going to upgrade to an unlimited domain and subdomain plan, but this was my first time with a paid host.

It was $16 total for unlimited space, bandwidth and mySQL with cPanel for the year. I have had no problems with them, and the owner replies to every email he gets. I strongly recommend you check it out! =)
