I bought a couple of sites but I have no idea how to "move them to my server". Can someone tell me? I've contacted my host and asked them but they said to ask someone else. It's $12.00 just to ask the people they wanted me to ask & another $15.00 for their services and it's not guarenteed they know how to do it.

[sorry if this is in the wrong place]

Well, actually it's not that hard to do.
You get the original files and database backups from what you've bought, then use FTP client to upload to your server, if you've already got it ready, and setup the database again. Besides, you also need to do something to the domain.
If you'd like, maybe I could help you, just provide me some more details.:P

websitemovers.com seems to offer a service that can help you. I've never used them though.

Based on your question, it looks to me like you also need the services of a webmaster, at least until you learn the ropes of this website managing thing.

Your host should be able to at least give you a solid referral for someone to move your files for you. If the referral can't "guarantee" they know how to do it, then I would advise going elsewhere.
