Is it possible to link 2 different hosting DNS into one domain?

if hosting 1 : you get 200GB

hosting 2 : you get 150GB

Therefore you will get 350GB for 1 domain? o.O

I have a file hosting site, I was just want to find a way to have more spaces and i dunno if this will work.

Thanks

I don't beleive this is possible because you can only point your domain to one set of Domain Name Servers at a time.

Why not just buy more space from one of the hosts? I don't think you can merge them together for more space.

It is possible to do, but as Whipped said it's a lot easier just to find someone who offers the kind of space you want.

http://www.sectorlink.com <--- if no one else does, these guys will (although I'm not sure of their file sharing policies.)

If you still want to go the route you're thinking of, the only way I know how to do it would be to set up a subdomain on your second host (e.g. fileshare2.yourdomain.com) and set up an A record to point to the DNS servers of your second host.

Wouldn't it be easier to use subdomains? serv1.yourdomain.com being on the first server and serv2.yourdomain.com being on the second server you got.

Edit: Just noticed ADAM Web Design already mentioned it, sorry :P

....Or, you could just do what I said to do.

No harm, Rahxie. It just means it's a good idea!
