I have been using Fatcow web hosting for years and they were pretty good up until recently. After a system wide PHP upgrade file uploads worked but images and files were not viewable. It's a very simple fix on their end but they refused to make it - even though numerous customers complained like me. You can google the issue and find hundreds of dismayed webmasters. I was forced to re-write over 20 routines for my personal site alone - not to mention customer sites.

If you have the same problem save yourself the time and worry associated with contacting tech support because some idiot will lie to you for days before an engineer will send you an email telling you it's YOUR problem.

Add a chmod line to your PHP code after the move and set perms to 644. Why they decided to make this change after 3 years is beyond me and they could at least have notified customers. NEVER HOST WITH THEM - that is the bottom line.
