There's a brilliant and immature way to drag it on, good job. Do some research on the webhost market over the last 15 years. You'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Don't take my advice or opinions, look up statistics. It's not difficult. And regarding his age, I'm guessing you missed his long thread of profanity and harassment on page 2 before he quickly deleted it. You missed a portion of this thread, I didn't.

I'm not going to touch on most of this thread since it seems like a bunch of whining and mis-communication on the part of vivehosting.

As for the last comments by wipeout, your 12 year old attempt to turn this into a comparison of e-*****es is just sad. wipeout, vivehosting, grow up. We've been dealing with hosting, web development, custom programming, network marketing, and security consulting and analysis for both our local and international clients for years. Obviously this forum is nothing more than a few children attempting to prove themselves in an attempt to act macho. I will not return here, since I simply do not care. We are all aged 24 to mid 30's and yes, we all have a long extensive history in internet services. That's one thing neither of you have. Talk all you want, with attitudes like that you wont succeed. I have been through four cheap hosting hosts already and everysingle one of them still exists.
You manage to play the facts as if they were bible.

Do you know why most of them start and go out of biusness?

Its becuase unlike you oviously, people are smart and we acctualy check that the host has been around for more than a year or two. Just becuase you figure that if they are hosting its gotta be for forever, doesn't mean thats how it is.

The reason new hosts go out so fast is becuase most poeple aside from you, check the hosts reliability before signing up.

Anyone that can mcHost will know what happens when you sell too much, too cheaply and grow before the proper supports are in place.

Cheap hosting is great for people with personal or non-critical sites, but for those with critical business applications, you only get what you pay for.

Excuse me, I have to stick for vive, in this matter, because I have had a wide variety of hosts, and some have been as young as vive here, and others as old as my dad. Age does not matter, because from my experience I have noticed little difference. I would prefer a younger hostmaster like vive, because I am only 18, and its so much easier to talk to him for support and just general chat, than it would be to talk to an older person.

I have had SupaNames as a host before, and I cannot notice any difference between the quality of service and support between them and vive, which says that you don't have to have experience and be older to run a successful hosting firm.

In just under 1 year, vive has got around 80 customers - doesn't that say something, because many of them are from recommendations, so he must be doing something right, otherwise he wouldn't have any customers.

How is having your own hosting firm, insulting developed ISPs? I could wake up tomorrow and decide to make my own, and there is nothing wrong with that. These new ones are providing what students need the most - cheap quality hosting. The only reason I have not gone with a more established host is because I simply cannot afford to pay £30 a year for hosting, whereas with vive here, I can scrape £15 a year for very good quality hosting, with no actual difference in service.


Amdac - students are not going to register with developed ISPs because they cannot afford it, unless their parents are filthy rich, and since the majority are not, they will go for hosts like vive etc!

I think this arguement should be dropped now!

It's funny... Amdac was talkin about my profanity in the post I cleared when I only stated a wrong fact about him not being with HostingAssured, and also about that testimonial on a site not being hosted by him, but it seems he started his own host which wouldn't be a good argument against him so I removed it. I didn't use any inappropriate language.

And just to correct the fact for those reading. vivehosting.com is not on a reseller account. I lease dedicated servers just like he does and almost every other host. I'm sure I may seem immature, but trying to defend your business against ignorant people trying to bring down the competition could get you that way. All that talk about how established he is and such an attitude, I wonder how he talks to clients.

I'm just getting more irritated, I'm pretty sure it's him who signed up to my forum to post as a disgruntled client trying to make me lose some prospects. I'll delete the thread in my forum after I get an answer just in case it's legit. But I'm sure it's not.
