Here's my problem, I currently have a SMF forum hosted on a Windows Host, I'd like to transfer it to a Linux Host. What would I have to do, besides backing up the SQL files? Do I just import it, once I reinstall SMF on the Linux Host, or is there more to it than that.

I don't think you have to do something else. You've backed up you SQL files, reinstall SMF and that's all.

You just would need to setup the proper CHMOD permissions if it does not run with phpSuExec.
