I understand in principle how a reseller package works, but I am lost at how to make hosting plans from the options in the reseller package.
My question, could you look at the below reseller plan and come up with good packages and a price that would sell as a hosting package please.

20GB of bandwidth, isn't alot however I will see what I can do with the amount, which you have.

You could setup a package, which includes:

500MB WebSpace (Enough for most medium size sites)
5GB Bandwidth

That will give you 4 paying customers, however you need to setup a package for your own site, so that would be three clients, or you could do this:

250MB WebSpace (This is quite alot)
2GB Bandwidth (not ideal, however enough for beginner sites)

This will give you 8 accounts including yourself with bandwidth to spare for customers to buy if they need more.

Most websites don't use nowhere near 500MB of webspace, average is around the 50MB mark.

With those limites you could setup packages offering:

100MB webspace
2GB transfer

200MB webspace
4GB transfer


We use similar limits on our plans and we sell alot of them.

Although sites might not go over 100MB, it is always nice to have more than needed.

Those are starter plans, they can upgrade should they need more. This way you dont pay for what you don't yet need
