Yea that is true,, don’t go for any ‘unlimited’ offers or ‘lifetime’ offers as you will regret it later when you face frequent downtime due to over-loading the server which is normally shared with others. Go with a decent webhost who can offer you reliable hosting with not cheap but reasonable prices as in the business of hosting you always get what you pay for but that factor also depends from company to company. To get a good webhost it is not necessary that the hosting provider has to be a big company so choose wisely.

One thing that no one has mentioned is management. Unless you have a high level of server management experience you should only look at proactively fully managed servers.

Proactive means they monitor your sever and install all necessary sustem updates without your having to ask them to do so. Also be sure to look at how much memory and cpu you are getting for your money.
