1&1 and GoDady, all good. But 1&1 time billing period is too short (max 6 months), if you forget to update your card or your card is out, your package will be locked until you update your card.

But if you want to have a choice, come here http://www.find4host.info ~~> for you all about web hosting providers

Their both good; good, but different. Which is best for you depends on what you want. The most obvious difference, to me, is that GoDaddy has more of an 'a la carte' plan. You pay individually for all the extras. 1 and 1 offers all inclusive packages. There are very few extra cost items.

I use 1 and 1, and though I don't use everything included in my plan, they're cheap enough that it doesn't matter.

Godaddy is a good choice. I've never used 1and1; however, I've seen more negative reviews of 1and1 than I have of Godaddy.

Godaddy is fine.
One minus is that it does not offer a good control panel. I tried windows server. Control panel was not that much good. Also for creating emails, you have to go searching for the menus.

1&1 and Godaddy both are fine but if given a choice between these two I would probably go with Godaddy as they have pretty good reviews and satisfied customers.

Well, are you asking about hosting or domain registration?

I have no experience with hosting on either host, but I have registered multiple domains on both.

Godaddy is more expensive, but your domains are ready instantly.

1and1 has much cheaper prices, but it takes hours for the domain to become ready.

Your choice. Personally, I'm cheap. I'll wait a few hours.

I haven't used either for hosting, but have used both for registrations.

I like private domain registration and 1and1 is much cheaper, it's included with the domain. But like a dummy I didn't read the fine print until much later, and any postal mail sent to the private registry will be forwarded to you at a cost of $5 per item. I hope I don't get any unwanted solicitations.

GoDaddy charges an additional 6 or more dollars for private registration. But doesn't charge for mail forwarding as far as I can tell. I won't know who is cheaper till I see if I get stuck with a forwarding bill.

Godaddy's cpanel is much easier to use, you can set all the name servers the same rather than individually. And as was mentioned earlier it's all instantaneous, rather than waiting 6 or more hours with 1and1.

I would say 1and1 looks initially to be the $ value, but Godaddy has them beat in service, and possibly long term $ value.

I never liked any of those. I have always used namecheap.com for my domains. I find it real easy to manage my domains through namecheap.

Personally I would recommened never to sign up to 1and1, and to be honest, godaddy isn't a great second choice, have a look at some of the smaller sized hosts, they treat you better and make you feel more like a customer rather than a number. Asmallorange as quite good, else have a look at webhostingtalk.com
