anybody has hosting at unihosting.net? they are down for more than 3 days, I did not get any mail from them.

UnitHosting.net was hosted on the same server as AlstraSoft.com

AlstraSoft.com was having CopyRight Issue related E-Friends software. ThePlanet.com had to unplug SV15 to avoid any lawsuit from Tribes.net (E-Friends).

We've emailed you with lengthy explainations. Only SV15 server was affected.

good thing I did not move my main sites to unithosting, so,
damage to my business was minimal even though unithosting
server was down for some days.

would have been better to send a mail when you first found
about the problem, I had to check the site from minute to
minute to see when it would became available, I had no
ideea what happened until the "lengthy explainations" mail.

It's unfortunate that a business has to make a decision like that and knowingly drastically affect their clients. Did the DMCA play a part in the violation? I would be interested to hear the details that lead the planet to unplug a server.
