Hi,

I am using a windows 2003 server to host my sites but am having problems with the SMTP service, I have installed the service and can telnet to it on port 25 but when I go into the IIS manager the SMTP service is not viewable in the MMC, I have tried restarting the SMTP & IIS service but to no joy....

Has anyone else come across this problem, I have checked Microsoft's knollegebase but no help there so am now a bit stuck

If anyone can help it'd be much appreciated

Have you tried registering the smtpsnap.dll (c:\winnt\system32\inetsrv) by
running the command "regsvr32 smtpsnap.dll"? Open the IIS MMC again after
doing this. Let me know if this helps!

Do you use any type of control panel on your hosting server? I received an email from hosting controller asking us to offer their product, but I don't have any experience with it.
