I'm currently with inmotionhosting and am quite happy with them in all departments, but I am looking at the hosts that make multiple domain hosting affordable (like godaddy and hostgator).

I read a lot of people recommending hostgator and am wondering what sort of page speed they offer? I just read a review saying godaddy is cheap but slow.

Also wondering how globat compares to these, as I have read that it is very good.

Looking for any feedback and or advice.

Thanks,

Darren.

My suggestion to you is that if you're happy with your host, stick with it. It's very difficult to find a good host these days.

As far as Hostgator is concerned, they're not bad from what I've seen but not all that great either. I'd put them middle of the road (my girlfriend's father had...has?...a site hosted with them).

Maybe if you found a Hostgator plan that matched what you wanted and then asked your host to match the price, they'd do that (most will rather than lose a customer, especially if you've been a good boy.)

Thanks for the response,

I guess I'm not 100 percent happy with my current plan. They've been great for what I needed in the past, but my needs are changing a bit.

I'm limited to 2 domains, and pay an extra 4 dollars a month for the second domain. Also there is no professional shopping cart facility on my current plan. The jump up to what will meet my needs with inmotionhosting requires an extra 10 dollars per month. So I guess I have to seriously consider the other options available.

Darren.

Go on HostGator ... !

The webhosting service of godaddy is not so good, like their domain name registration services !
