Im the owner of www.thunderarena.com it's a game that has around 2000 members. Well we have been up for 2 weeks and generate 2,000-4,000 traffic daily of unique visitors. I come to find when I wake up today that databases are gone. We are hosted by www.integrityhost.com and my php coders are working on getting the site back. Does anyone know of any firewalls that we can add the website or anything that will help us be better protected please reply soon. Thank you

Can you suggest a better website hosting with better protection then please let me know. Reply here remember our host gives us unlimited bandwith which is what we pretty much need...thanks

Have you informed your host bout this? Do you pay for your host - if so, ask for an investigation!

The first question I'd ask is how was the site hacked? Was it because of insecure coding? Did somebody figure out the admin password? I wouldn't blame the hardware setup/hosting company without first investigating the software.

One way to make your site more secure is to ensure that all logins are done with ssl encryption. Ask your host to check their logs to see how the hacker got in...

Also, check your staff. I've worked on sites before where a staff member sabotauged the site. Check the FTP logs.
