In what way does onthespothosting.net differ from hostgator.com? Prices? Bandwidth? Support? What?

I've been using a hostgator reseller account for over 4 years now; I'm overall very satisfied with the support, reliability and pricing of their reseller services.

I've never used onthespothosting before, so I can't comment on their services.

If you have any doubts or want to try them out, I see that onthespothosting has a coupon available (on their reseller page) & I know hostgator has coupons, get a free month (or discount month) & try out the services before shelling out any cash.

I'm biased towards hostgator only because I've been with them so long & had a great overall experience. Anymore I wouldn't trust my sites with any other hosting company, at least a web hosting account in a shared environment. That's not to say that onthespothosting can't be as good, only that I suggest trying out hostgator is all.

Hostgator is the biggest compay. If they lose customer they won't to do something to back him, because thy get new customers houtly. So if your problem cannot be solved immidiately you might wait for a long time. At the ame time onthespothosting.net will take more care of you.
I think that you haveto go with onthespothosting.net.
They have nice offers.

Just a comment about a thread I read elsewhere, If you go with Hostgator be sure to create a custom 404 page. I understand they are placing adds on the default pages they provide. It would be a shame to advertise for your competitor.

aa.. likely we are comparing kitty cat with lion king here.
if look for a good server with support, (which will later result in better hosting to your client).. then go for hostgator.

I guess I don't know if it's a coupon per se, but on the reseller page for onthespothosting it does mention that you get a free month.

This is what I was referring to above when I mentioned the onthespothosting coupon.

Both worth your attention. But I sympathize with onthespothosting.net. Prices are lower and no bad feedbacks.

I guess Hostgator is a big company and it's quite possible it doesn't care much of its clients. I personally prefer smaller companies like Onthespothosting.net 'cause they think of each client being afraid of losing them and having a bad reputation because of this.

I have found feedbacks about onthespothosting.net in the Internet. You may read about them here: www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=onthespothosting.net
and about hostgator.com here: www.hostgatorreviews.com.

Well I tried to contact Live chat service of onthespothosting but there was nobody to answer. I got this error"Please wait for a site operator to respond" . I waited for 5mins but no answer. I think the better option for future will be Hostgator. Go with Hostgator SeemsOk.

But I think it's a temporary issue. It happens to every host from time to time.

Recently I have seen Onthespothosting.net's banner on WHT. And I think there must be really a lot of feedbacks about them there.
