I will be starting a site soon, and I want to start of simple and free. Does anyone know any good, free, hosts with short sub domains, such as ej.am? If anyone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.

It isn't going to be a blog, but it will be a tutorial site with a forum on the side. If I can find a place that offers a large amount of space, I'll be happy.

I don't think you'll find a free host that will offer a large some of disk space though. You may need to find paid for that purpose.

What is the reasoning for wanting a free host? You can find paid hosts out there that offer a decent amount of disk space and bandwidth with unlimited features (subdomains, ftp accounts) on cPanel for $10 or less a month.
