i hav 1 gb windows web space.

my web host has given me some asp.net and with free pbpbb forum application.......

but i wan to install some more application ( i found on google ) that has not been given by my web host......

so how can i install that softwares ?????????
or i must contact to my web ho ????????

Your web host may offer such tools to install software/scripts or through a 3rd party software to install software.

If you are unable to install anything, please contact your host.

I'm sure you may already know this, but make sure that any applications you want to add, are based off of ASP.

You won't be able to use PHP / MySQL unless the Windows server also has this made available, though most usually don't.

I agree (to a point) - although given that abhijeet mentioned in the initial post that they've got pbpbb (phpbb?) installed, my guess would be that isn't an issue here.

How to go about installing a particular web application depending on the application you're trying to install! Most/all open source and commercial web applications include installation instructions - so you should follow these and ask here (and/or your host!) if you have problems during the installation.

It's a lot easier for us to help you install something if we know more specifically which "something" you're trying to install...

are you refering to COM or activex installtion?
for sample, ixwebhosting does allow that, and you need to provide the software details to ixwebhosting support and get approval, and they will install it.
