can u remove hosting banners?

My company that i use 4 my site haz a big dutty banner n i wondered (well...someone sed it waz possible) how 2 get rid of da banners. does any 1 hav any ideas?

if this is free hosting it is against the TOS and your host will delete your site as soon as possible.

In principle its possible if you are willing to client side scripts that can over write the entire the web pages.

In practice its just too much of a pain to do, unless you enjoy doing such things for fun.

So you are hosting on a free host and you want to remove their banners so they don't have an opirtunity to make money from there free service to you. If you are unhappy with free hosts why dont you go find a paid host that way you can put whatever on the page you see fit.

I do agree with Athorn4941.... In fact there r lots of sites on the net which gives a lot of free hosting with no banner ads!!! but usually suports only html

Yes. It is very unethical, the host, out of pocket, is providing you with a service costing them money, and you try to screw them over again?

Yes the best way of doing this is to pay the small amount a month ($1-$5 which isnt alot) to upgrade your account from a "free" one to one with no banners and most of the time is more reliable any way.
