Looking for unlimited hosting cheap...please list

im telling you that sounds like a bad idea looking for a unlimited host.... most of the time the host would oversell the sever..... then you end up with a very slow host....

Depends what you need it for I could give you a very very high B/W AND storage but obviously as above said to ensure I never oversell I have to put restrictions in place like not to be used for person storage reasons and no MP3's etc etc

History dictates that you get what you pay for. Any web hosting provider offering "unlimited free" hosting isn't going to be around for long. But don't take my word for it. Search this forum and see how long any "free unlimited" host has remained running.

I can only think about cheap hosting with some unlimited features, but not with everything unlimited, What are you planning to host? is it for personal or business/mission -critical site?

There is nothing like unlimited hosting. otherwise I would have used the same for my forum that gets around 8 million page views per month! Why should I spend 800$ per month if a cheap $10 per month hosting can provide me 3TB of traffic?

With every unlimted hosting offer, there will be some catch. CPU usage or whatever, they will kick you out the moment they think you are crossing the limit. So better find something that offers just what you need.

When was the last time you walked into a computer store and saw hard drives with UNLIMITED space???

Unlimited hosting is non-existent for the most part. You can get unlimited FTP accounts, unlimited email accounts, unlimited databases etc. etc. but you will rarely see unlimited bandwidth and unlimited space simply doesn't exist (as I said).

Unless you are distributing vast quantities of illegal software or you are a massive download site, you will not need large resources anyway!

I would talk about unmetered bandwidth rather than unlimited, it's when bottlenecking technique is used. So, you should know the reverse side of "the unlimited."

WHB does do have lots of unlimited features in their budget hosting plans, but what's really important they have limited number of domains to host per account.

They don't have everything unlimited, what's unlimited is the number of pop3 emails, auto responders and MYSQL/Cpanel.

Unlimited email/databases etc. don't exist either - just a lot more hosts get away with this as it's rare to get burnt by it. As a sensible provider, it still isn't a good idea to be offering it though...

Put it this way, if you're offering AV and anti-spam filtering on your mailboxes, then email accounts are a significant enough resource for you to worry about. Unlimited databases are also a potential problem, and ultimately clients will notice the difference between 50 databases and 5000 databases all on the same database server; why open yourself up to problems like this?

I understand that people may be concerned about what they may use/need, but once you've got your site running somewhere you can easily see the kind of usage that you actually need (in every single resource) - unfortunately customers see resource limits as restrictions, but the reality is that often the hosts offering more limitations (less unlimited or very high limits) are the ones offering a decent service.

It's the "restrictions" that help maintain quality service over a long-term sustained period, rather than just the day they bring an empty server to the party.

Try looking at their plans. Remember though - you get what you pay for. Many companies that offer unlimited oversell (sometimes to the point of seriously losing reliability).

Do you really need unlimited hosting??? If you need a lot of resources (which you probably don't), get a package from a reputable company. Cheap companies can often be scams!

247-host.com provide unlimited bandwidth only in their platinum plan that is about $15, and in their Super plus and Extreme reseller plans. At least they don't try to do it in every plan.
