I need a new dedicated server due to problem with the company I am with now.

I decide to start researching but online all the reviewer web page have different listing of who is best to use. So I started reading customer reviews and they don't match what any of the web page say is best.

Can anyone recommend trustworth review pages?

Most of review pages I knew have influenced by their sponsors.
Try googling some names you know with additional (sorry) SCAM or SUCK keyword. Read about it carefully since this doesn't mean that those providers are real SUCk or SCAM. Look how they managed regarding this negative comments.

Personally, I have good experience with Servint.

You can find genuine reviews in WHT. But don't expect all the reviews to be positive, it's better to look into where you might have problems with the host in question. Also ask people who have been on the forum fora long time. There are lots of hosts here also. As dannybedor said already - I don't think you'll find m/any trustworthy review sites as they are usually sponsor-lead, and/or full of affiliates etc. It's really hard to get a good feel either way without first-hand experience.

Out of interest, what sort of problems are you facing with your current provider?

Also, are you looking for un/managed? What about location? Is the server for hosting a single (or small number of) large websites, or selling shared hosting etc. - or something else like Saas?

I'm a reseller through eUKhost.com - they seem to be OK at the moment and I'm hoping to move to bigger plans with them in the future. Their support is reasonable although maybe not as good as it could be. Someone suggested that all of the support staff are based in India and all of the names in support chats are just made up - I don't know about this actually! Lol. Sometimes, it seems like they are (e.g. bad english or taking ages to read my question etc.) but other times they are very quick. Up till now, I haven't had any major issues so I'd recommend them. A friend of mine is on a VPS with a company called Servint (servint.net). He says they are very reputable - they've answered all of his support questions and they have great uptime.

Whatever you do, I wouldn't look through the review centres as so many are biased and end up conflicting with each other. Once you've narrowed it down, as Dannybedor said, search keywords like "........ sucks" or "..........scam" and search through their support forums to see if their issues are answered well and speedily.

Are you using a VPS with them? If so, out of interest are you on openvz or Virtuozzo?

Not to mention that there are many skilled peoples here who have a real community spirit.
I'd say you will receive multiple really thrustworthy answers.

Personnally, I use an VPS server running on a Xen hypervisor hosted at ip-cracks [http://www.vservers.ch/index.php?id=7] [http://www.ip-cracks.ch] (German pages only !).
They are a bit pricey (as anything in this damned country), but support is top notch and very reactive.
I don't know which pairing they got, but I suspect they are on the Sunrise fiber network with a strong backbone through Europa and USA [http://www.sunrise.ch/en/business/wholesale/wholesale_produktedienstleistungen/wholesale_infrastruktur.htm]

Looks like advertising to my hosting, I know, but really it's not.
It's just that the man who handle it there saved my *** 3 times in 2 years, and they deserve a good reputation.
