Hey all!

Okay Question, I want to get into some reselling.
How many sites can I get on this:

Disk Space: 3.5 gb
Bandwith: 35gb

I know it depends on how much I want to give but, whats a good plan to give? any thoughts??

Well AC, I've talked with you before about what my host can get on what we have...

If you only have 3.5GB of space, you can't give much out, so keep that in mind. With that kind of space, you might consider giving out small space for free, then once you have a client base, go into paid hosting. Just a thought. 35GB is decent, but you can go better. It all boils down to how much money you're willing to invest.

We have found that when we do a small business site, and host it and dont give them access to the FTP you can easily do 100mb storage/1gb bandwidht per site... so that would be 35 sites in your case....

That package is 54.00/Month.

I did find another one which I think is alot better

Check it out:
5,000 MB of space
50 GB of Bandwith
For 34.59/Month.

ALOT better then the other one!!!

I think you all would agree

Heres another question, When they say 50 GB of bandwith do they mean PER month? OR for a year?
THey never say and I am pretty sure its per month. Just want to backup what I think.

Anyone else have a better deal out there? or some more info?

Hey AuroDev - but is that enough for a full website, doesn't seem like it is.

There is alot more than just the amount of space and bandwidth you are getting that goes into choosing a webhost. Thier reputation, do they have a proven track record? Have you tried contacting thier sales department to see how fast thier response time is?

As for reselling, the honest truth about hosting is that most clients do not use anywhere near the amount of space and bandwidth they purchase. Some do, but most do not.

As for the price of the plans you mentioned, that seems about on par, but close to the lower side. On average pricing should be seen as 1-2 dollars per a GB of bandwidth as that is the general going rate from datacenters.

You need to check first what are the types of support your host is providing. Price really does not matter in the long run though you are paying some high price for that. It comes out of my personal experiance.

Well, I'm not sure how our actual packages go (give me some time and I can find them) but my host does have very good reseller accounts.
