please check those web hosting resellers, and tell me if you ever tried them out, their prices are cheap, yet they are offering big gigabytes of bandwidth and disk space.. dstinternet.com has a good review for its own web hosting on webhostingstuff.com .. but i didn't find a review about its reseller accounts... they got no live chats.. and i'm not even sure about their support.. so please check them out and share your thoughts about them..

I'd suggest going with the second one, as at least he's not a month old host.
Check WHB and Myriadnetwork plans, as they have proven track of history record and unbeatable support teams.

By the way just looking at those hosts, be EXTREMELY careful as both offer "unlimited" plans. This is blatant overselling. Proceed with caution

You know they got an amazing offer, but it's like you never know unless you try.. and i really don't need to try those hosts without knowing what they are all about from previous resellers.. i've sent them an email this morning and still they didn't replay... plus if i want to go for dstinternet.com i should pay annually.. so i got to pay annually for some hosting i don't know nothing about? i don't think so..

I use eUKHost which seems to be very good (been on them now for nearly 2 months and they've sorted out my problems). They have good uptime and are quite reliable. A friend of mine uses a Servint VPS plan which also seems to be quite good. The general rule is not to trust hosts that offer unlimited plans - tempting it may be, if you actually started using such large amounts of server resources, you'd probably get banned. There are plenty of hosts out there so do your research and get a reliable (and affordable) plan when you do

They are terrible! I just spent the worst first 60 days with a hosting company! They went down due to "a bad hard drive" 8/9/07 and I just today finally got my domain transferred and a SMALL portion of my money refunded!

They dont answer (and even delete) trouble tickets, admin rarely answers email, the phone will not handle support any longer, just sales.

They had no backups, and refused to (ignored requests) restore my access to my hosting account or to let me transfer my domain elsewhere.

They Suck.

As a matter of fact, I now own dstinternetsucks.com

A hardware issue can happen to any host. The latter part is really worrying though.

Yep, but in the case of disks (and some other components) some providers will spend more on their hardware to have a decent level of redundancy - e.g. RAID 1 / 10 / 5 / 6 etc.

Our typical server deployments will take up to 3 concurrent disk failures with any downtime or data loss. Similarly we have redundant PSU's, fans etc which all help

Cheap hosts use cheap hardware - and the results tend to be as you'd expect... then many compound the problem by not taking backups either!
