Searching over the net isn't really getting me any results, so I figured I'd post here.
Awardspace is currently down so I'm in the market for a free webhost. My requirements are as follows:
- 100MB minimum
- 500MB b/w minimum
- No inactivity auto-cancellation
- No incredibly abrasive ads. Pop-ups, banner, and text are all fine but not anything too annoying.
- FTP Upload
- Javascript and PHP support
- No ridiculous filesize restrictions. I don't mind restrictions as long as they aren't extreme.
- No top level domain requirement. I don't have a top level domain, and if/when I get one I'll probably just buy hosting.
I am 18 years old. My website is going to be a portfolio of my music/graphic design work. However, it might be barren for a long time so I don't want a host that harasses me when I don't have new work or a lot of it.
That is all. Thank you for your post. Please, don't post your personal webhost unless it's been hosting over 100 people for over 1 year. I need a free host that gives users enough freedom to not hinder their work. I AM WILLING TO ACCEPT FORCED ADS.(See above, though)
