Web Hosting Offers and Requests

Hey, Looking for a new hosting company fast, because my site was kicked off the last one and i need to get it up ASAP

I need at least 10 gb of space, bandwidth doesnt matter as long as its decent. Host also needs to support mysql and php

as for my budget, I am looking for monthly payments. Yearly i cant afford at the moment for various reasons. I am looking at 5-15$ a month (currency doesnt matter)

I use http://www.hostingdepartment.net and I like them. You can get the 10Gb of space you need for about $8.00 a month. They have 24/7 support and have been in buisness since 1998.

I've had good luck with http://www.ez1web.com and http://www.ipowerweb.com

The 10 Gbs seems a tad high for the price you're asking--at least from a host that has been around.

as far as I know, it doesnt really cost them alot to run the server so it shouldnt really matter.... but i could be wrong

anyways guys to avoid any more confusion of people thinking im still looking for hosting, I have found hosting. I am currently with HostGator right now.

I am using m6.net They do support php and mysql. The plan with 10G disk space and 500G bandwidth is only $9 USD. I am happy with their services so far. You should check this out.

You can take a look at bluehost.com, lunarpages.com, startlogic.com. These are one of the reputable hosts which I have found. However it is very good idea to prepare a checklist with all your requirements so that you wll not need to change the hosts again.

I read some myself. The vast majority of those that were replied to by the company representatives ended up not so negative. Knowing both sides of the story can lead to quite different conclusions.

when you buy these services, what do you mean $8 or $10 a month? Is that your cost to serve each customer you sign up? Do you charge a margin on top of that, and what is the typical profit margin?

HostGator has been my only choice. Also your first month can be only 1cent if you use the code "sitepoint" without the quotations.
