Web Hosting Offers and Requests

I am finally looking to shake Ipower and go with a real company. So far I have narrowed a dedicated server down to The New York NOC Inc and Index Core. Here are the deals I am looking at:

Index Core $149 a month No Set up fee
Intel Pentium D 3.0 Ghz Dual Core
1 GB of RAM
4,000 GB of monthly bandwidth!
6 IP addresses

New York NOC $109 a month - $49 set-up fee
Intel Pentium D 2.8 Ghz
1 GB RAM
1,500 GB monthly bandwidth
5 IP addresses

Currently, I am only using 50 GB of bandwidth. The real problem I am having wih Ipower is the server I have can't handle the traffic. I am assuming it is the processor and the RAM. Currently, I have a 1.4 Ghz processor and 256 RAM. I am leaning toward the New Tork NOC because it is $40 a month cheaper and I will never use 4,000 GB of bandwidth.

Any thoughts? Customer feedback on these two?

hmm get the new york. it looks good enough, but keep the other one in mind.

I use godaddy, excellent hosting, very cheap pricing, never any downtime

Check out LayeredTech (layeredtech.com) for dedicated server pricing. I have heard that they offer very good support and excellent dedicated servers.

LiquidWeb have good managed dedicated servers as well.

NYNOC seems like the better deal for your needs. Just keep an eye open, you just need somebody that understands your problems and is ready to work with you to solve them.
