hi all, i need a unix hosting package to support a youtube variant website

must be cheap but with alot of space, bandwidth and of course reliability

hmm, what you need is a dedicated server or a VPS (Virtual Private Server).
some reputable company are :
- LayeredTech http://www.layeredtech.com
- Soft Layer http://www.softlayer.com
- The Planet http://www.theplanet.com

Don't go for a shared hosting package, if you're really looking for a host to host a website like YouTube, because they will suspend your account anytime, when you're using high system resources.

I guess I can do it... but Like liandra said, a vps would be best...
