I'm helping out a friend with an incentivized website, and he has problems with members with foreign IPs/proxies signing up and defrauding offers. Is there a script that only allows US based and non-proxy registrations, I know there is a vbulletin solution for this but this isnt vBulletin website.

GeoLite from maxmind works well and is easy to set up to determine country for an ip address. The free version should be 97% accurate.

You can download some large proxy lists on various sites and he could block those.

That would probably help him out with most of the unwanted registrations.

You could possibly use this file. And just create the index.php with it to allow sign up or whatever..
