Question for those of you using Mint stats

I've just had a look at the Mint demo thing (available at http://www.designologue.com/mint/).

I was wondering what makes those of you use it think its so good? Its a serious question as to me it just looks like a fairly standard set of stats like you can get out of Webalizer for zero cost?

What do you think makes it worth the 30$ a month compared to AWStats/Webalizer/GoogleAnalytics?

Thanks!

Well, to start with it's not $30 a month. It's $30 for a one-time purchase and full support for life, I believe.

I think what makes Mint so great is the distillation of everything down into simple boxes. That, and it's so easy on the eyes that you'll think you're not even looking at your stats.

Also, there is an extendable interface called pepper (get it, "peppermint"?) Anyways, people have created modules for mint that allow you to see things like your feedburner stats, different user installed software, and stuff like that.

Personally, I think Mint is great and well worth the $30 I spent on it.

I like it because it's simple and intuitive. You can hand it over to a client to look at, and they understand what the page says - which is a very rare thing for a web stats package.

Plus, at $30 a domain it's a steal

Yeah sorry 30 a site

Some interesting responses so far... basically just how it looks (ignoring the plugins for now)? I'm half tempted to make my own and undercut him

I like using Mint because of the simple, clean interface and the availability of "peppers" which makes things a WHOLE lot easier. It's pretty informative and I've found it to be as accurate as AwS, if not more.

I've used Mint once, but I felt it was just too much eye candy. I prefer awstats because everything is on one page unlike Mint, where you have to dig for information (by clicking around and seeing all the windows fade in and out). I also use Google Analytics to keep track of stats on my sites.
