Do not ever go with Site5. Do a search on WebHostingTalk and you'll know why. I was with them for 2-3 months and it was hell. I switched over to HostGator afterwards and it was 100x better.

I'm on a VPS now though (not because HostGator was bad).

I noticed that they have the "Hatchling" package for $6.95 per year, at least that's what it says in the parentheses. When I order the package, it comes out as $83. Is the $6.95 per year a typo?

Yeah ive been with hostgator a couple of times. most recently for the last couple of weeks.
Had a couple of issues with them last time with transering a site over to them. they said they could do it easy, signed up with them but after numerous emails still got nowhere. ended up selling the site so didnt matter anyway.

I have noticed that the server seems a little slow sometimes when using a cms or forum script. just working on a site thats not public yet it can take a few seconds to even respond.

im on the $9.95 plan. so guess cant really complain too much.
